Big Day Yesterday and it Doesn't Slow Up for Today

Huge day in the markets yesterday as M&A activity has found itself, once again, on the front page of the WSJ. Everyone is talking about it, including yours truly on Neil Cavuto's show yesterday. The $14 billion in deals inked yesterday pushed the markets to new highs and has the Dow dancing with 10,000.

Two big reports on deck that could push the markets even higher:

1. 9am NYT, Case-Shiller Home Price Index

2. 10am NYT, Conference Board Consumer Confidence Report

Now, the overseas boxscore:

Hang Seng: +2.06%

Kospi: +0.87%

Straits Times: +1.30%

Shanghai Composite: -0.33%

Nikkei: +0.91%

More later, with lots of breaking news today.

Talk to you,
