Big Week Ahead on Wall Street

This week marks the "official" week back from summer vacation for Wall Street folks, and what better way to get things started then to have our Prez give a speech on the steps of Federal Hall! It's hilarious that his comments over the past few months have turned Wall Street capitalists into villains, and he decides to show up today (b/c of the one-year LEH bankruptcy) in his Sheriff gear to say "we've turned a corner". Yeah, ok.

We at LandColt cannot wait for this speech, and--oh yes--we have people there ready to get the scoop. So, check back because we'll be reporting what people on the Street are actually saying.

For now, though, let's get to the Overseas Boxscore:

Shanghai Composite: Up another 1.2%. (Simply, wow!)
Hang Seng: -1.1%
Kospi: -1.0%
Nikkei: -2.3%

No data releases today, but we'll have a ton of data to get through this week:

9/14: Nothing
9/15: PPI, Retail Sales, Empire Manufacturing
9/16: CPI, Industrial Production
9/17: Jobless Claims, Building Permits, Housing Starts
9/18: Happy Hour

Look for more reports throughout the day!!

Talk to you,

Todd M. Schoenberger, Managing Director
LandColt Trading, Inc.
