Let's Change the Beige Book to Something a Little Brighter

Because, according to the Fed's Beige Book released this afternoon, the economy is beginning to thaw in half of the 12 regions profiled in the report. How about we call it the Sunny Yellow Book?!? Dallas, Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Richmond and San Francisco all posted gains in the local economic environment. This is fantastic news, because all of these areas are spread throughout the country--not just in one geographic region of the USA.

All we need are jobs, and a jobless recovery will force the double-dip argument to become a headline. Hopefully, O'Bs stimulus does the trick.

Talk to you,

Todd M. Schoenberger, Managing Director
