As I said on Friday's one-hour show on the FOX Business Network, housing will be front-and-center this week. Along with the second full week of Q3 earnings releases, we have a ton of housing data to sift through--and all arrows are pointing down for this sector.
The big four releases this week are:
1. The Housing Market Index (released today at 1:00, NYT).
2. Housing Starts (released tomorrow at 8:30am, NYT).
3. Permits (released tomorrow at 8:30am, NYT).
4. Existing Home Sales (released Friday at 10:00am, NYT).
It's not looking good!
More later on housing, the Raj Rajaratnam case (this is just the start of something MUCH bigger, folks), Apple earnings and updates on the Yankees game.
