Folks--we have a GIGANTIC week to look forward to. Not only is it Halloween and the start of the World Series (Go Yankees), it's also the final full week of Q3 earnings--not to mention the release of 14 major economic reports.
In addition, it's also a big week for oil. The Texas Tea's big three release this week:
Conoco (Wed)
Exxon (Thurs)
Chevron (Fri)
And, with oil trading north of $80/bbl, all eyes are on the black gold and how higher prices will mess with the American consumer.
I'm not going to throw all 14 reports to you, but I've listed the biggest market movers for your pleasure:
Monday: Nothing today
Tuesday: 10am, Consumer Confidence
Wednesday: 8:30am, Durable Goods; 10:00am, New Home Sales
Thursday: 8:30am, GDP; 8:30am, Jobless Claims
Friday: 8:30am, Personal Income & Spending; 9:45am, Chicago Purchasing Manager Index; 10:00am, University of Michigan Confidence Survey
As you can see, we have a ton going on. Check back often for updates.
Talk to you,
Todd M. Schoenberger, Managing Director
