Lots Happening This Week, except...

It's going to be a little slow today, as we celebrate the Christopher Columbus holiday. Great article in the weekend WSJ about how some local governments, as well as states, are beginning to eliminate celebrations of the holiday to save money. Some feel the holiday is a waste of time.

No word yet if Thanksgiving is in jeopardy, but we'll keep you posted the sec we hear something. :)

Wednesday, we're getting September retail sales and import prices. Also, FOMC minutes will be released.

Thursday, September CPI and jobless claims.

Friday, let's say Go Blue--U of Michigan Confidence survey will be released.
